Karl Bickel (D), hopes to finally oust Sheriff Chuck Jenkins in his second official campaign after failing to secure enough votes for a write-in campaign against the three-term incumbent in 2010.
Bickel has called for a more progressive and unilateral approach to the opioid epidemic, as well as a close re-evaluation of Jenkins' agreements with federal immigration partners, which he believes could come with a heavy price.
